Woodbury Budget Fails Second Referendum

The second referendum on Woodbury’s 2013-14 municipal budget failed to pass once again, this time defeated by a clear margin of 109 votes.

The final tally Thursday night was 607-498.

The Board of Finance will now have an opportunity to make adjustments to the budget proposal before sending it to the voters for a third time.

The current $9.78 million budget was resubmitted to voters Thursday after a tie vote in the first referendum on May 30.
