Thursday's vote on Woodbury's 2013-14 budget resulted in the most unlikely result: a tie.
The final unofficial count Thursday night was 317-317, forcing a manual recount and, possibly, another vote.
"This hasn't happened in recent memory," Democratic Registrar of Voters Anne Cushman Schwaikert said Thursday night, stating that they would have to review the regulations to ensure everything is done properly moving forward.
If the recount upholds the tie vote, another referendum will have to be held in the coming weeks.
