A hand recount Saturday of the ballots cast in Tuesday’s bond referendum upheld the results from the machine count, approving $63.8 million for renovations to Nonnewaug High School.
According to Woodbury Democratic Registrar of Voters Anne Cushman-Schwaikert, hand counts in Woodbury and Bethlehem Saturday confirmed the passage of the bond proposal by four votes, 1,269 to 1,265.
