JAZZ RUN

Litchfield Performing Arts announces its first Annual Jazz Run
fundraiser. This 5mile run/2mile family fun walk happens this Sunday morning
September 29 in Goshen, Connecticut. It’s a scenic course through woods (no
trafficked roads), past a pond and through the private Woodridge Lake enclave.
The course is registered by the U. S. Track and Field Association. All proceeds
support Litchfield Jazz Camp scholarships.

The event finishes with a picnic party with live music.
Attendees are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy free ice cream and beverages.
Special activities for children will be provided by KisPlay Children’s
Museum of Torrington.

Proceeds from the event benefit the educational programs of
Litchfield Jazz Camp and Festival. The run is open to all comers.  The
registration fee is $22 for a racer in advance and $10 for a walker. The fee on
race day at the starting line at Camp Cochipianee is $27 per runner and $15 per
walker.  The first 200 registrants receive a complimentary T-shirt.
