With an uncontested top of the ticket election, Middlebury's poll official is pleased with the 7.5% turnout as of 2:45 p.m.
The 7.5% turnout amounts to 653 ballots cast of the 5,196 registered voters in town.
"It's better than I thought it would be," says Betty Proulx, who has served as Moderator for the last 12 years.
