Woodbury's Trick or Trunk Today: October 31

Door-to-door trick-or-treating is not recommended by Woodbury's first selectman due to road conditions.

Despite concerns that Hurricane Sandy would cancel Halloween activities in Woodbury, Trick or Trunk is still taking place at Hollow Park.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. for trick-or-trunkers. If you are giving out candy, you may arrive at 5 p.m. and can set up from 5 to 6 p.m.

"We would not recommend door to door," he said. "Like last year, there are power lines on the ground in many areas and neighborhoods.vWe would ask that parents bring their children to the Trick or Trunk Event at the Hollow, where it is safe."
