I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a degree in Journalism. Over the past few years, I have gained experience in a number of positions in the field, mostly in print. While at UConn, I was a staff writer for the student newspaper, The Daily Campus, as well as a freelancer for the weekly Plainville Citizen newspaper. Wanting to try my hand in broadcast journalism, I interned at NBC 30 during my last semester at school. Last year, I accepted a position as a reporter for the Glastonbury-based Rivereast News Bulletin, covering the quaint towns of Hebron and Andover. In my free time, I enjoy being in the outdoors and traveling when I can. I was born and raised in Bloomfield
