Fran Lawlor, Neighbor

Fran Lawlor was Naugatuck born and raised. Graduating from Naugatuck High School in 1994, staying in state and attending Western Connecticut State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. He first picked up a camera at the age of 12, following in the footsteps of his father, former Naugatuck Daily News Photographer, Peter Lawlor. Photography has always been more of a habit for him. Grabbing the camera to snap the picture of the bird who just landed on the feeder in the backyard to running to a local, or distant, race track to take pictures for a national auto newspapers.Fran has been published in numerous auto racing newspapers and magazines throughout the last 22 years. He  is also part of an on-line website dedicated to auto racing. This past year he has branched out doing the photography for events other than auto racing.
