Bill Butterly has already started with political paybacks

Newly elected First Selectman Bill Butterly has not even been sworn in yet, but he is fulfilling some of his campaign promises.  Rumors are swirling around town that Butterly has already promised a position to former Highway Department employee Rich Lamothe.  Lamothe's position was eliminated by the town a few years ago.  Lamothe after that went to numerous Board of Selectmen meetings to antagonize Stomski, including bringing his daughter to disrupt the meeting with her demands to tape the meeting.

Is Rich Lamothe qualified for the current job description?  If not, will Butterly change the job description to give a job to a political supporter?

Butterly was also seen with his "buddy" Bill Drakeley Sr.  Apparently, they were at town hall today.  Was Drakeley scouting out a spot in the First Selectman's office?  Does Drakeley have a desk ready for him?

This must be the unity Butterly promised.  He is uniting people who had power and influence from previous administrations in direct payback for electing him.

I am wondering if I can get a garage apartment through zoning if I decide to unite under Team Butterly.
