Bethlehem Garlic Fest: A Complete Guide

I'm a big fan of garlic. We're best buds. So I'm planning on taking my taste buds to Bethlehem's Garlic & Harvest Festival this year.

Are you going too? Here's what you need to know! 

Time & Date: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13

Admission: $7 per adult, $6 per senior, $1 admission for children under 12

Address: Bethlehem Fairgrounds, Entrance at 304 Route 61 (Main Street North) in Bethlehem

Food Offerings

• Lorie's Lunch- breakfast sandwiches, french toast, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, coffee, water, soda, hot chocolate

• Tim's Smoked Products- pulled pork with a garlic rub

• Indochine Pavilion Restaurant- Thai food- pad thai noodles, garlic chicken on a stick, pineapple fried rice, sesame chicken

• McGrath Food Concessions- garlic fries, garlic wrap, fried shrimp, fried clams, mozzarella sticks, tempura veggies, fried mushrooms, soda, water, lemonade.

• Angelo's- fried dough, clam chowder or chili in a bread bowl, waffle fries-loaded, baked potatoes with various toppings, fried ravioli, fried zucchini, kielbasa burgers, taco bowl, onion petals, gourmet garlic grilled cheese sandwiches.

• La Zingara- garlic sausage with peppers & onions, sweet potato fries with garlic mayo, pasta with garlic & olive oil

• Lemon Grass Grill- Garlic roasted pork, lemongrass chicken, & vegetable Bahn Mi & Po'Boy sandwiches featuring such toppings as homemade roasted garlic mayonnaise, pickled carrots, & daikon radish. Lemongrass chicken salad & vegetable salad, tofu Po'Boy and salads. Gluten free menu. Pumpkin soup, roasted garlic & potato soup, and brown rice with choice of lemongrass tofu or lemongrass chicken. Fresh brewed iced tea, and Arnold Palmer lemonades.

• Acapulco Mexican Grill- Garlic burritos, garlic buffalo wrap, & garlic shrimp. Fresh fruit lemonade.

• Kalani's Crab Cakes- Garlic chicken & garlic lamb pitas, crab cakes & coconut shrimp with garlic, rice & salad.

• Northeast Midways- Hot roast beef sandwiches with garlic sauce.

• Aurora's Gypsy Cafe- Bata melts- served on a garlic & rosemary ciabatta bread, with garlicky pesto sauce (garlic & herbs, walnut, sage & cranberry), havarti cheese, roasted peppers & onions, lettuce & tomato: elk, venison, lamb, wild boar, beef; elk stew- a hearty winter stew with cherries, butternut squash & sweet potatoes in a garlic, port wine & juniper berries sauce; Kashmir lamb stew with spinach, kale & lima beans in a creamy garlic & yogurt sauce; vegan & gluten free platters (hummus, tabouleh, grape leaves); mini fried breads; lamb shawarma; Persian tea; flavored iced coffee; french press coffee; Lebanese falafel wraps- baked vegan & gluten free fava, chickpeas, & sweet potatoes mixed with garlic, herbs & spices; Turkish meat pie- ground beef mixed with garlic, Zaatar & Harisa served over flat bread; watermelon limeade, peach/mango/papaya limeade; soda, water.

• La Petite France French Bakery & Cafe- Savory Crepes: Complete (ham, cheese, tomato), St. Michel (cheese, spinach, tomato), garlic vegetarian (mozzarella, spinach, tomato, roasted garlic), garlic chicken (chicken, monterey jack, roasted garlic, red pepper). Sweet crepes: butter & sugar, nutella, dark chocolate, banana & nutella, mixed berries & chocolate.
