Teen Karaoke, Book Discussions Scheduled for This Week

Mark your calendars! Here are a few events scheduled for the week ahead in Woodbury and Middlebury.

Tuesday, December 3

Flanders Nature Center presents a Wreath Making Workshop at the Middlebury Public Library at 6 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. To register, please call the library at 203-758-2634.

Teens can channel their inner rock stars during Open Mic Karaoke at the Middlebury Public Library, 30 Crest Road, Middlebury. The event begins in the Teen Room at 6:30; please call the library to sign up at 203-758-2634.

A lecture on Parent-Child Relationships After Divorce will be held at Woodbury Middle School, 67 Washington Ave., Woodbury, at 6:30 p.m. The discussion will focus on moving forward after a difficult divorce.


Wednesday, December 4

The Middlebury Public Library will discuss 'Trading Christmas' by Debbie Macomber at the Brown Bag Book Discussion, followed by a viewing of the film. The discussion and viewing begins at 12:30. Pre-registration is required; please call Donna at 203-758-2634.

The As the Page Turns Book Discussion at the Woodbury Public Library will focus on "Cold Sassy Tree" by Olive Ann Burns, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
