Bring a Non-Perishable Food Donation to Earth Day

Just a few things you may want to bring to Woodbury Earth Day tomorrow, including non-perishable food items for the Woodbury Food Pantry (Community Services Council).

Woohoo!!!!

Woodbury Earth Day is tomorrow, April 27, 2013 from 11a - 4p, and the weather looks AH-MAZING!  We hope you're planning to attend, and bring friends. It is the perfect way to welcome Spring, spend a day outside in the sun, and let the kids run around and dance to the music.

A few things to remind you to bring.

For starters the Community Services Council of Woodbury, also know as the Food Pantry, will have a booth and will be graciously accepting donations of non-perishable food items.  Please bring what you can.

Next, Flore Flowers is accepting any old glass vases that would otherwise be headed for the land fills, and in exchange they will receive a coupon towards fresh flowers.

You may want to pack the sunscreen, as the sun plans to shine all day and there is little shade on the field at Hollow Park.

Finally, bring your shopping list. With Mother's Day and Father's Day coming up, this is the perfect venue to find unique and beautiful items for your loved ones. And it's not too early to think about Christmas and Holiday shopping.  The Earth Day vendors are sure to have something for everyone on your list!

We, on the Earth Day committee, are sooo excited about this awesome event. We hope you are, too!
