Photo Contest: Is Your Dog The Top Dog?

Everyone knows their dog is the best dog. Now, Woodbury-Middlebury Patch is giving you the chance to prove it.

This month, in conjunction with dog license renewals in the state, Patch is launching its Top Dog contest.

First, we want you to go and get your dog officially licensed at the or the , as required by law, and then we want you to enter our contest.

Here’s how the Patch contest works:

Beginning Sunday, June 3, upload your favorite photo of your dog to this article. It’s super easy — just make sure you are a registered user first.

In the caption, tell us your dog’s name and what makes him or her so special. One photo per owner, please.

Between June 1 and June 16, our readers will vote in the comments section of this article, saying which dog is Woodbury-Middlebury Patch's Top Dog. So make sure you tell your family and friends to vote and hit that social media campaign trail early!

On Sunday, June 17, we will announce the winner of Woodbury-Middlebury Patch's Top Dog contest. We will also have a prize for the Top Dog, too.

To vote: Look for the number in the top right corner of the photo and refer to that in the comments.
