Swim Clinic Brings Olympic Athletes to Watertown

Olympic swimmers Matt Mclean and Misty Hyman will be on hand to inspire and coach students.

The Watertown Warriors will host a Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at Watertown High School, 324 French St., Watertown.

Olympic swimmers Misty Hyman (U.S. gold medal winner for the 200-meter butterfly race in Sydney in 2000) and Matt Mclean (U.S. gold medal winning member of the 4x200-meter freestyle relay team in London in 2012) will be on hand to inspire, coach, and demonstrate their skills.

Athletes ages 8-18 will have the chance to boost competitive swimming skills during one of two four-hour clinics (8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.).

The cost is $75 per swimmer. Space is limited, and swimmers must register by January 6. To register, contact Jill Buban: jillbuban@gmail.com or (203) 405-3862.
