The Woodbury Public Library is offering an introductory session of Teen Yoga and Nutrition on Thursday, April 12 at 7:00pm.  The program is free and open to teenagers, ages 14-18.  Led by certified instructors Megan Lutz and Lisa Larkin, Teen Yoga and Nutrition is an interactive class examining the concepts of whole foods and refined foods and how each affects a teenager’s body, daily life, moods and energy.  Participants will also be guided through yoga movements with an emphasis on expressing their individuality, creativity and inner strength.   The class will help teens understand their body better through yoga movement and the foods they choose to eat. A six-week Teen Yoga and Nutrition program will then be offered through the Woodbury Parks and Recreation for a fee on Mondays beginning April 23 and Tuesdays beginning June 19.  Please contact instructors Megan Lutz- 203.733.6494 -megan@peacefulwaywellness.com and Lisa Larkin -Certified Nutritional Health Coach - 203.263.5748 - http://lisa-larkin.healthcoach.integrativenutrition.com/ for additional information.  Registration is required for the free introductory class for teens ages 12-18 as space is limited.  Please contact the Woodbury Public Library at 203-263-3502 to register.
