2012 Walk Against Hunger Team Meeting

Want to get involved in the fight against hunger in Connecticut?  Come and join us at a planning meeting!

The Community Services Council of Woodbury is looking for interested volunteers to join the CSCW walking team and participate in the Connecticut Food Bank 2012 Walk Against Hunger.   The yearly fundraising event benefits the Connecticut Food Bank as well as individual food banks around the state.  This year’s walk starts at Library Park in Waterbury on MAY 20 and will raise thousands of dollars for the CT Food Bank.  If you would like to join this worthwhile cause, the CSCW is putting together a team of walkers.  All ages are invited to participate; please come to the preliminary meeting at the Woodbury Public Library on Tuesday, February 21 at 7:30pm and bring your ideas - we need a team name, themes, songs, chants - all for a really great cause.   For more information, please contact Community Services Council of Woodbury at community.services.council@gmail.com
