Portraits by ShawnaLee has been helping Pet Protectors with sketches of pets and will be making a donation for every sketch ordered from July 3 until July 24, 2013.
Pet Protectors Inc. is a non-profit, tax deductible, animal rescue organization dedicated to giving a second chance to homeless and abandoned animals.
Viewers may watch News Channel 12 Pet Talk with Lauren Collier on Sunday, July 7th to find out more information and to see some amazing examples of artwork that is done all by hand.
Besides saving many animals, Pet Protectors, Inc. help to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering pets to reduce the number of unwanted and abandoned pets. Their rescued dogs and cats are given food, water, warmth, medical care to prevent illnesses, affection and so much more!
Pet Protectors screen all potential foster parents and adopters before they are given a pet. They do home visits, trial periods, and then final adoptions. They also provide follow-up after the pet has been placed to ensure a good family transition.
