Region 14 Education Budget Passes by Healthy Margins

Both Woodbury and Bethlehem voters approved the 2014-15 budget in the second referendum

Region 14 voters approved the second 2014-15 budget proposal after the Board of Education reduced their initial request by just under $327,500.

The budget passed in both towns, with Woodbury voters agreeing to the spending request by a margin of 127 votes, 719-592, and Bethlehem voters passing it by 34 votes, 190-156.

The final unofficial tally Thursday night was 909 in favor to 748 against.
