The Rhone Valley-“Famous for its big, sturdy, full bodied red wines”: Cote Rotie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and Cotes du Rhone. 

 

School Information:

All Classes will be held at 1249 Wine Bar, located at 1249 West Main St. Waterbury, CT 06708. Tuesdays from 6:30-8PM we will taste wines from each region and enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres. Come by or call us at (203) 754-5554 to register for class. Classes are $25 per person unless specified.

 

About The Good Life’s Professor:

Nelson Veiga attended and graduated from the Hotel Management University in Lausanne, Switzerland. After an extensive field study of wine, he became a professor and taught for 16 years at the School of Hospitality Management in Miami. He returned to Connecticut and opened retail wine stores in West Hartford and Waterbury. Come join Nelson and live the good life, and celebrate the world of wine at the 1249 Wine Bar.
