On Saturday, March 10, 2012 the CT Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-CT) will present its Annual Condo / HOA Conference and Expo at The Aqua Turf Club located at 556 Mulberry Street in Southington, CT. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with special breakfast meetings for Property Managers and Presidents of local Home Owners Associations (HOAs).
Attendees can expect to learn how to handle issues facing their condominium associations. Education sessions will be lead by industry leaders and will cover topics as diverse as Budget Blunders, Future of Insurance, State Government, Managing Expectations, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and the Common Interest Ownership Act (CIOA), recently passed legislation that impacts the day to day governance, record keeping, and management of almost every condominium and HOA in the state.
Upwards of 500 people are expected to attend the day-long event that also features a trade show, refreshments, and door prizes for attendees. There is plentiful free parking for the event as well.
