Two Kittens Need Homes!

Two male kittens, 9-10 weeks old, need a loving home. We'd love to find someone to take them both, so they can stay together, but we're open to adopters who can only take one.

In October, I rescued a litter of six kittens from the basement of an empty building in Waterbury.  I found homes for 4 of them almost immediately, without doing anything -- I had taken them all to my vet to be checked out, and one of the techs there knew a few people who were looking to adopt.

I have two of them left, and they are very ready for a new, loving home.  My wife and I have 5 cats of our own already -- otherwise, we'd be keeping them!  They have been living in our bedroom for the past few weeks, separated from the other cats, becoming fully socialized.  They're now 9 or 10 weeks old, playful as tumbleweeds, cuddly and sweet, and they love people.  Sometimes they start purring as soon as we enter the room.

They are both male, and of course not yet neutered (still too young). We have given them temporary, not very imaginative names in an attempt not to become too attached to them. "Stripey" is a little more rambunctious, and "Hissy" is a little more cuddly, but they both love to play and love attention and petting.  ("Hissy" got his name early on, when he was afraid and hissed at us a lot.  He doesn't hiss anymore!)

They love being together, and ideally we would prefer to send them both to one home so they can stay together.  But they're still young enough to adapt easily, so we're open to adopters who can only take one.  If you're interested, please contact me using the information below.  Thanks!
