Welcome to the SRO STOP.......This is a place to get information on Region 14's School Resource Officer (SRO) Program as well the D.A.R.E program. We will be providing factual information on a wide variety of different subjects. The D.A.R.E program is alive and well in the elementary schools. Many of the fifth graders look forward to it, and that keeps the forth graders in suspense till next year.
School Resource Officers are stationed in each school whenever the students are in class and during special events. SRO's work in a corroborative effort with the school administrators and specialists for the betterment of the students and staff. Being that police officers are stationed in the schools, many of the situations that involve the police, can be handled by the SRO's.
