Rob Zombie's Connecticut Home is on the Market

The rocker and movie director's Woodbury house is for sale and features frontage on the Pomperaug River, a lighted tennis court and a separate studio/barn.

The rockstar life — the phrase conjures up images of trashed hotel rooms, raging parties, the best cars money can buy and ... homes built in the 1700s in bucolic settings?

It does if you're talking about metal rocker Rob Zombie. He and wife Sheri Moon moved to Woodbury, Conn., a small town in Litchfield County, in 2009. The Zombies put their Woodbury home on the market and here's a slideshow glimpse into what you can buy for almost $2.3 million.

  • Asking Price: $2,285,000
  • Estimated Mortgage: $8,796/month
  • Beds: 4
  • Baths: 5
  • Square feet: 4,693
  • Acres: 22
Zillow describes the home as having "vast frontage on the Pomperaug River." There's also a guest house, 2,200-square foot barn/studio with a half bath, a lighted tennis court and an in-ground pool.

The Zombies made headlines last year when Sheri Moon Zombie complained about loud noise from the Hollow Park skate park. No word on whether that factored into their decision to sell.
