Woodbury Public Works Notes Upcoming Road Projects

The would like to thank the residents of Woodbury for their patience while the town implements its road improvement and remediation program.

This year’s program includes the drainage installation and the repaving of Middle Quarter Road and Hard Hill Road North, which have been completed.

Sanford Road and Old US 6 No.1 have been repaved, with Hollow Road and Doolittle Road near completion. 

Future improvements for this year include applying a chip-seal surface to the following roads during the month of August and continuing into the fall, weather permitting. 

They are:

  • Flanders Road
  • Joshua Hill Road
  • Kimberly Lane
  • Hoop Pole Hill Road
  • Middle Road Turnpike
  • Old US 6 No. 2

 

The Public Works Department is also planning to pave the following roads using hot mix, during the month of September. 

They are:

  • North Road
  • Old Sherman Hill Road (from Middle Quarter Road to Trolley Bed)
  • Transylvania Road (Woodlake to Route 317)

 

Additionally, the reconstruction of Peter Road including drainage, widening and paving from Route 47 approximately 0.5 miles east will commence.
