"The same poll showed 44 percent of registered voters disapprove of the job that he's doing, while 37 percent approve. In March, Quinnipiac found 45 percent disapproved of the job Malloy was doing, compared to 44 percent who approved," the Associated Press reported.

Roy Occhiogrosso, Senior Advisor to the Governor, released the following statement regarding today's Quinnipiac University poll.

"We have tried to be consistent in not saying much about polls because... what's there to say? Polls come and go, numbers go up and down. The Governor always does what he thinks is best for the state and the right thing to do."
