U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will host a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 20, in Hamden, his first in a series of town hall meetings across Connecticut.
Murphy will hold a town hall meeting in each of the state’s five congressional districts to discuss federal policy and hear ideas about how he can best represent the people of Connecticut in Washington.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hamden Middle School Auditorium, 2623 Dixwell Ave.
Murphy was elected in November, replacing the retiring Joseph Lieberman, who opted not to seek reelection after serving four six-year terms in the Senate. Murphy defeated Republican Linda McMahon for the seat.
