Middlebury Election Results: St. John, Strobel and Barra Comprise the Board of Selectmen

Polls closed at 8 p.m. today: Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Republican Edward B. St. John received the most votes in the first selectman race, at 1,087 votes.

The selectmen on the board are Republican Elaine M.R. Strobel with 1,712 votes and Democrat Ralph Barra, who received 779 votes.

The other candidates running for first selectman received the following votes.

  • Republican Joe Rock: 264 votes
  • Republican George Tzepos: 762 votes
