Senate

Linda McMahon (R): A large sign near exit 29 on Interstate 95 readers “Linda: She’s Out Shopping Again.” The candidate didn’t respond to the jab, reports the Stamford Advocate.

Chris Murphy (D): The congressman came to New Britain with a Republican colleague to talk about bipartisanship and dysfunction in Washington D.C. Murphy said, according to the Associated Press, that “the system is fundamentally broken.”

Fifth District

The district’s crowded field of GOP candidates are working to win over voters in time for the August primary, reports the Hartford Courant. Andrew Roraback recently threw out the first pitch at a New Britain Rock Cats game, while the other candidates take their message door-to-door.
