Woman Charged With 170 Counts of Possession, Police Investigate Possible Burglary

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woodbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Melissa Evanosky, 37, of Cheshire, was charged with 170 counts of possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree larceny on Jan. 15 at approximately 1 p.m.

According to police, Evanosky was arrested following an in-depth investigation by Woodbury Police after the Woodbury Drug Store reported concerns over missing controlled substances. The State of Connecticut Drug Control Agency was also made aware of this investigation.

Evanosky was released on $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Morgan Morris, 47, of Southbury, was charged with failure to plead on Jan. 21 at approximately 7:56 p.m. after Woodbury Police learned of an active arrest warrant during a traffic stop on North Main Street.

Morris was released on $75 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 5.

A Woodbury man reported damage to his rental property on Boxwood Court in Woodbury after the former tenants had been evicted on Jan. 16.
