Two Middlebury Arrests Over Thanksgiving Weekend

Overall during the holiday weekend, five minor accidents took place and no injuries were reported as a result of the accidents, Acting Police Chief Richard Wildman said.

 

After a one-car accident at approximately 7:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, Shari Richardson, 48, of Washington Drive in Woodbury, was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to drive right, according to Acting Chief Richard Wildman of the Middlebury Police Department.

The accident occurred on Route 64 near Chase Road in Middlebury. Police said Richardson struck wire guard line and several guard posts. She was released on a $500 bond and assigned a November 29 court date at Waterbury Superior Court. Officer Al Cronin investigated.

Sgt. John Desmarais arrested Drew Pikulski, 37, of Aetna Street in Naugatuck, for operating under the influence, failure to obey stop signs and failure to drive right, after police observed Pikulski allegedly driving erratically on Regan Road in Middlebury, at around 1:47 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25.

Pikulski was released on a $500 bond with a court date of November 30 at Waterbury Superior Court.
