Two Arrested After Domestic Dispute at Old Trucking Museum

Dispute that began in Southbury ended with two being arrested in Middlebury.

Middlebury police were called to the former Golden Age of Trucking Museum on Southford Road just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday for reports of a domestic dispute that started in Southbury.

Upon arriving, police conducted an investigation that led to the arrests of Michael Zuraitis, 52, of Carusso Drive, Watertown, and 46-year-old Jennifer Posegate, of Heritage Village, Southbury.

Middlebury police charged Zuraitis with criminal violation of a protective order. He was released on $5,000 bond and turned over to Southbury police.

Posegate was charged with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct. She was released on a written promise to appear in court for arraignment on Monday.

Southbury police are also conducting an independent investigation.
