Stolen Jeep Still Missing from Middlebury, Police Say

Have you seen a black Jeep? It may be the one police are looking for after it was reported stolen from a Middlebury business.

 

Sometime between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, and 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, a black 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing CT Registration 85CD46 was stolen from Middlebury Garage, located at 1126 Middlebury Rd.

The Jeep was at the garage parked outside in the lot for service, according to a press release from Acting Chief Richard Wildman.

During the same time frame, car parts were reportedly taken from another car parked in the parking lot of the garage.

The Jeep has not been found. Middlebury Police are sharing information with the Waterbury Police Department's Detective Division about this case and other stolen vehicle recoveries in Middlebury, Wildman stated.
