Stolen Dirt Bike Results in Arrest of Middlebury Man

After an investigation by Middlebury police, a Middlebury man was arrested for charges related to the alleged theft and more.

 

Brock D. Deininger of Brookside Drive in Middlebury was arrested by Middlebury police at approximately 10:35 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, for larceny in the fourth degree, according to a press release from Acting Police Chief Richard A. Wildman.

A warrant was issued for Deininger's arrest after an investigation pertaining to a stolen Yamaha YZ85 dirt bike concluded. The bike was reportedly stolen on Saturday, Nov. 24, in Middlebury.

As a result of the arrest, Deininger was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and arrested for the following additional charges:

  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Deininger was held on $10,000 bond. Arraignment at Waterbury Superior Court was scheduled for Monday, Nov. 26.

Officer Todd Adams and Sgt. John Desmarais handled the investigation and were assisted by additional Middlebury police officers.
