This does not surprise me at all. We went to Woodbury to snow tube on the Friday before this accident and felt like we were taking a big chance with our lives and the lives of our children. The place was very horribly managed by college students that were not prepared to keep people safe. The slopes, including the "easy hill" was so slick and fast and had big bumps that caused us to go flying in the air. The equipment was also not safe including the "magic carpet" which lacked a piece at the end of one. You are also on your own to find a family tube even if you pay for it. My major concern is the lack of safety. It is also horribly expensive.
