Search On For Missing Oxford Man

Emergency officials say Shawn Quimby was last seen yesterday morning at his home.

Firefighters and police from Oxford are scouring the woods along the Connecticut State Bridle Trail in search of a 40-year-old man who was reported missing this morning.

The bridle trail runs through Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oxford and Southbury.

According to officials, Shawn Quimby was last seen yesterday morning at his home on Jacks Hill Road in Oxford. Police say the search of the trail was a first logical step as it's located behind the house. There are no signs of suspicious activity in the area, officials report.
