Route 6 Closed Near Minortown Road Due to Car Accident; Power Outages Reported

The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the accident at around 1:17 a.m. Sunday, June 17.

CL&P's outage maps report that power is restored to all Woodbury homes.

3:10 a.m. Update

 According to CL&P's outage map, approximately 168 homes are without power in Woodbury.

A one-vehicle accident occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 17, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Route 6 near Minortown Road is closed, the DOT reported. told Patch a telephone pole is down and the road will be closed most of Sunday.

No information on possible injuries of a person or persons involved was available.
