Kara Fernandez, 20, of Middlebury was charged with DWI, failure to obey a red light, failure to drive to the right and misuse of a license on Jan. 26 at approximately 2:11 a.m.
According to police, Fernandez was observed driving through a red light and straddling the centerline on Rt. 188 in Southbury. The vehicle also came close to hitting a DOT plow, police said.
Fernandez was also found to be in possession of two additional identifications belonging to other persons, yielding a misuse of license charge.
Fernandez was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.
