Police Close Woodbury TD Bank Friday Morning
Bank has reopened after scare from suspicious package.
The TD Bank on Main Street South in Woodbury was closed temporarily Friday morning, reportedly due to a backpack left unattended on the premises.
State police confirmed that there was an ongoing investigation at the scene Friday morning but would not provide further details immediately.
Bank employees confirmed that the branch was closed for about an hour, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Employees could not go into detail but said that all persons inside the bank at the time are safe and unharmed.
The bank was reopened for normal business as of 11 a.m.
