No Injuries Reported in Woodbury Single Car Crash
Vehicle fell nearly 70 feet before it came to a stop.
The driver of a vehicle that crashed on Lighthouse Road in Woodbury late Tuesday night suffered only minor injuries, according to police.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. state police say a vehicle traveling north on Lighthouse Road veered off the right shoulder and fell nearly 70 feet down an embankment.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury and treated for minor injuries. There were no passengers and no other vehicles involved in the crash, police said.
Resident state police, Woodbury Fire Department, and the Woodbury Community Ambulance service responded to the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
