Police Sobriety Checkpoints For Labor Day

Where the police will be doing roving patrols and sobriety checks? Here's the list for the state of Connecticut.

 

State Police will be conducting roving patrols and sobriety checks throughout this Labor Day Weekend to crack down on drunk drivers, speeders, people who don’t wear seatbelts and distracted drivers.

“Our troopers will do their part to enhance the safety of all on the roads and highways of Connecticut,” said State Police Colonel Danny Stebbins.

Western Connecticut: September 3

Roving Patrols: Route 44, Route 202, Route 219, and in Torrington, New Hartford, and Barkhamsted; Route 8 and Interstate 84 exit 18 to exit 23 in the greater Waterbury area

Roving Patrols: Interstate 91 north and southbound, south of Interstate 84
