First Selectman Gerald "Jerry" Stomski stated, in an e-mail to Patch, that those who were injured were transported to local hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition.
Update, 11:04 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29
WTNH reports that seven people were sent to area hospitals after the car accident. The injuries were reportedly non-life threatening, WTNH noted.
Update, 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29
Fire Chief Janet Morgan said three people were transported to Waterbury Hospital and two people were sent to Saint Mary's Hospital.
Laura Contento left the following comment on the Woodbury-Middlebury Patch Facebook page around 8 a.m. today: "My friend was in the accident and her and the other two people in the car are okay, but she doesn't know about the two people in the other car."
Three people were transported to Waterbury Hospital this evening after a car accident that took place around 7:30 p.m. between 90 and 137 Flanders Rd., Woodbury, Fire Chief Janet Morgan told Patch.
Two people are awaiting an ambulance and will also be taken to the hospital, she said.
Three cars were involved. Morgan said she does not have additional information on the extent of injuries at this time.
