Burglary in Middlebury Today - Monday, Dec. 5: Police Asking For Assistance

The burglary took place today, Monday, Dec. 5, 2011.

 

At approximately 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, residents of a home on Sandy Hill Road left their house to start their daily routines.

When they returned, their flat screen TV lay in the driveway and jewelry, a Playstation and Xbox units were stolen, according to a 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, press release from Middlebury Police Department Lt. Richard Wildman.

Entry to the house was gained via a side porch door. Lt. Wildman said the perpetrators smashed out a glass portion of the door and reached though to unlock the door.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious people or vehicles in the Sandy Hill Road area are asked to call Police Officer Ron Pruchnicki, Jr. at 203-577-4028.
