CT Man Charged After Stabbing a Watermelon, Police Say

A woman claims the act was threatening in nature.

Sometimes slicing a watermelon can be against the law, just ask Carmine Cervellino, 49, of Thomaston.

Police say Cervellino is alleged to have stabbed a watermelon with a large butcher knife and left it in the kitchen for a woman to see, the Register Citizen reports.
