51-Year-Old Woodbury Woman Charged With Egging Houses

Two juveniles also charged with criminal mischief after several houses and cars were hit with eggs across Woodbury.

A middle-aged woman and two juvenile boys are facing charges after allegedly egging houses and vehicles across Woodbury.

Susan Donato, 51, of Woodbury, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on July 21 at approximately 9:58 p.m. after local officers received several 911 calls that homes and vehicles were being egged in the South Pomperaug, Main Street South and Great Hollow areas of Woodbury.

According to police, a description of two juveniles and a female driver, as well as a vehicle, was given to officers and the alleged egg throwers were located in the area of Hollow Park a short time later.

Donato was released on a written promise to appear and was scheduled to be in Waterbury Superior Court on July 31. The two juveniles were issued summons and were given court dates in Torrington Juvenile Court.
