Upcoming Woodbury Landmarks

With all the back and forth for almost three years, a new and recognized landmark is now growing rapidly in visits and popularity. 

Overturn Overton was born in September 2011 in response to tyranny similar to that of King George III, with whom the Founders fought for independence from.  This time it is self-anointed King Overton I. 

Overturn Overton represents a number of modern challenges that face the modern United States. 

First, so many Americans have failed to learn how our Constitution works.  The right to freedom of speech is so sacred in a free society that those who demand it be stopped fail to see the irony after their words demanding it. 

Secondly, the inability of elected officials to learn the law or understand these said rights.  Our rights come from our maker, not from government officials.  These rights to free speech are not subject to removal, despite the desire by some. 

There are rumors at this point, that a museum may be set up on this historic property to show Americans what their rights really are and how they have allowed them to be eroded.  If that comes to pass, we shall update as a service to the public.
