Barbara Perkinson Wins Caucus over Michelle Ecsady in Blowout.

Last night the Woodbury Republicans endorsed Barbara Perkinson overwhelmingly.  I do not remember the exact total, but I believe it was something in the neighborhood of 72-18. 

The Republicans there clearly understood what has been going on in town and it was clear to me how upset the ones in attendance were. 

Michelle Ecsady only registered as a Republican days before being appointed by Butterly and Overton.  In my opinion, she does not and has not ever represented the Republican Party. 

She is really a very liberal Democrat.  She has supported every spending program in recent memory.  She has concistently supported Democrats and Republicans who like to spend money on anything and everything.  She has been a rubber stamp so far for the big spending and lack of financial responsibility led by Martin Overton and Bill Butterly. 

There has been a coalition for a few years of the Anti-Stomski party.  This included Democrats, Republicans who really are not, and people who want power.  All of these groups will be supporting Ecsady. 

Barbara Perkinson is a good and decent person who has served Woodbury for decades.  She served on the Board of Education.  She served on the Zoning Commission.  She understands how the town should work. 

This choice is as clear as day.  Overturn Ecsady and restore Perkinson.
