Poll: What would you do if you won a quarter-billion dollars in the lottery?

If you don't like any of our answers, give us your own.

One lucky Connecticut Lottery Powerball ticket-holder won a $254.2 million winning Powerball jackpot ticket -- the largest prize ever won in Connecticut Lottery history, according to a press release from the Connecticut Lottery.

Nationwide, 2.27 million winning tickets were purchased for the November 2, 2011 Powerball drawing. Someone bought a ticket in Fairfield County but the winner hasn't come forward yet. (I retweeted something from someone who said they hope the winner is from Bridgeport, not Greenwich. I concur.)

We want to know what you would do if you won the lottery. (Who knows, you might have. Check your tickets; the winning numbers were: 12-14-34-39-46 and a Powerball of 36. The Power Play multiplier number is 4.)

Answer our poll below. If you don't see anything that jibes with what you would do, please feel free to tell us in comments what you would do with all that loot. Thanks!

DTV, good choice, the only time I lose it is during snow storms when the snow builds up on the reciever dish, you can either go up there and blow it off or just wait till it melts...lol In seriously heavy rains it can get a bit flakey too but its not as bad as the cabel companies would say. The best thing to do though is to tell the installer to adjust it as close to perfect a possible. I had to do mine after getting a new roof installed and DTV wanted $50.00 to do it, i went on line, got the instructions on how and did it myself.....easy peasy now it rocks!!

i would pay off all my debt, buy a winter home in Florida, buy a huge winniebago and drive cross country, buy all new Photo gear and a new computer, put $$ away for neices and nephewes for school, pay off my brothers and sisters (and inlaws) mortgages and help out my friend who has crazy med bills. Donate some $$ to some local Animal charities and maybe the Westport Harbor watch / river watch program and invest the rest.

No, winning doesnt count, its the ones who earn it (or daddy earned it) who are the 1%. If you win, you can then give half or more away to other non 1% ers also. Or give it to me, Id be glad to help you stay a 99%er... lol
