Tai Chao “Tina” Rinaldi, 68 of Waterbury died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Anthony Biaggio Rinaldi.
Tina was born in Taiwan on January 15, 1944. She came to Waterbury in September 1969. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking trips to the casinos. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
She leaves, a daughter, Nancy Rinaldi and her husband, Richard of Waterbury, a son, Anthony Rinaldi and his wife Cassandra of Woodbury, two grandchildren, Alexis Rinaldi, and Adrianna Mihalek, a sister-in-law, Carol Cirillo of Waterbury, and her life time love and companion, Barry Demkar of Naugatuck.
Calling Hours: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
Funeral: 8:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
