Raymond F. McPadden Jr., age 49, of Shelton died suddenly on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Marybeth Gauthier McPadden. Born in Bridgeport on June 8, 1963, he was the son of Raymond F. Sr. and Norma Jean Peluchette McPadden of Monroe.
Ray was the owner and operator of Mr. Mac's Canteen of Monroe and Milford. An avid music lover, he also enjoyed food and wine, sports, traveling and working in his yard. Ray’s great skill with his hands always kept him occupied with numerous projects around the house, most recently adding the finishing touches to his new kitchen.
His greatest joy, however, was found spending time with his family and friends, especially his three children.
Ray’s deep love for serving the public and his motto of “family serving family” will be remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his beloved wife of 12 years, Marybeth, other survivors include his children, Michael P. McPadden of Bridgeport, Raymond F. McPadden, III and Christina R.
