Obituary: Harold T. Stowe, 85, Formerly of Middlebury

Harold T. Stowe was a 50-year member of Lodge #7 in Woodbury.

 

Harold T. Stowe, 85 of Naugatuck, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Lillian (Pesente) Stowe.

Stowe was born August 5, 1926 in Naugatuck, son of the late Martin H. and Huldah (Beardsley) Stowe. He has resided in Naugatuck for over 25 years, previously living in Middlebury.

Stowe retired from Wesson Energy after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. He was a 50-year member of the Lodge #7 in Woodbury and a member of the V.F.W. of Oakville. He enjoyed fishing and loved reading.

Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves two brothers, Clifford J. Stowe of Brewster, Mass. and Robert E. Stowe of Auburndale, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Martin Stowe and a sister Marilyn Stowe.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.

Services: A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.
